Dreams FC head coach Vladislav Viric was very disappointed after his undefeated streak came to a halt last Sunday, stating that they were somehow unlucky in the game by failing to bury the opportunities that came their way, especially in The second half.
The ‘Bibires’ silenced Dreams FC with a small 1-0 win to end their incredible eight-game unbeaten streak in Week 15 at Golden City Park.
The ‘Still Believe’ guys have been very impressive since the appointment of their new coach, having gone eight games without a loss and have been unbeaten in the new year until yesterday.
Speaking in the post-match, Vladislav Viric has expressed his dissatisfaction with their defeat and has said that they had many decent chances but that they could not use them just to be punished for a small mistake they made.
Also, he noted that it has already happened and that could not determine his season, so he will have to put that behind and focus on his subsequent games.
“Luck was not on our side, we created enough chances but we didn’t get a goal from that, Berekum Chelsea didn’t score because they created an opportunity but because of a mistake we made and that hurts.”
“We have quality players and a single defeat does not define our season. We know that we have many games to play, the important thing is to keep our heads up and play to win the next game.”
Dreams FC will look to redeem itself when it hosts AshantiGold SC next week in Dawu in Week 16 of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League season.
