The former deputy general secretary of the largest opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Samuel Koku Anyidoho, has denounced the deceit of the petition against him for misconduct in the party.
According to the chief executive officer (CEO) of the Atta Mills Institute, nothing has happened to him in the Democratic National Congress (NDC) to place his membership in question.
Speaking in Ok FM’s Morning Show ‘Ade Akye Abia’, Koku Anyidoho maintained that he has not received any suspension letters, making the news about his suspension just a bluff someone is doing.
“Nothing has happened to me at the NDC. . . I have not received a suspension letter; I’m saying they’re bluffing. . . I say that the NDC belongs to all of us. As I speak to you today, let me misstate that no one can kick me out of the NDC. Let no one dare take me out of the NDC and we’ll see what happens. . . “ he dared.
“God forbid that through me, Koku Anyidoho, the NDC is destroyed. In the same vain, God forbid that I, Koku Anyidoho, do something to destroy Ghana’s democracy. I work for this Republic, I work for this nation, and my membership in the NDC is not in doubt. “ he stated.
Although Koku Anyidoho refused to enter the petition against him, he wondered how the NDC National Executives can suspend him before forwarding the letter to the Disciplinary Committee to further investigate the accusation against him.
He had the expectation that because of the leadership chain of command in the party as he has served as the former Deputy Secretary General of the party and also served as the Chief of Communication in Kuku Hills and eventually in the Presidency, someone close to his reputation he should have filed a petition against him and not at the party’s regional Communication Officers.
Let the renowned men petition against the renowned men; that men of straw should not be given the glory of asking against men of renown, so that men who are supposed to have fame fall under the dagger of men who have no reputation ”. Article.
