Reverend Dr. Kwadwo Boateng Bempah, the choice of friends that some people kept had brought many regrets
The Rev. Dr. Kwadwo Boateng Bempah of the Holy Hill Assemblies of God Church says that a person’s ability to experience advancements in life is highly dependent on the quality of the company a person maintains.
“Who you follow determines what follows you. The company you keep determines what goes with you. If you change those you follow and join the right people, your life will change and you will experience breakthroughs, ”he said.
Rev. Bempah quoted Proverbs 13:20, saying, “Walk with the wise and become wise; associate with fools and get into trouble. “
He said that the choice of friends that some people kept had brought them a lot of regrets and led to a lot of problems, such as imprisonment, spiritual attacks, and even death.
“Don’t hang out with friends or political parties; but rather, being close to God. Men come and go, but God never changes; It will remain the same forever. “
Reverend Bempah said Christians should strive to follow every instruction of God with unwavering devotion if they wanted to experience breakthroughs, adding that “God will take nothing from you. He prefers to give you everything. Every word of God is solely for your benefit. “
He said that in order for God’s children to constantly stay on top and remain relevant in the world, they need to enrich their knowledge base by reading the Bible, books, and listening to God’s word.
“If you don’t know more than they do, you can’t achieve more than they do.”
Rev. Bempah encouraged members of the Church to live in love, treat all people equally, and be at peace with all, regardless of race, social position, or educational background.
He said that the reason God blessed people was to provide help to the underprivileged in society and that God would enrich people to bless others only when they began to love them as Christ did.
