Former Asante Kotoko striker Ahmed Simba Touré has arrived in Ghana to complete his move to Medeama SC from the Ghana Premier League in a free transfer.

The Burkinabe international has had no clubs after parting ways with AS Kaloum from the Guinean top-flight league in December 2020.

Touré arrived at Kotoka International Airport on Sunday evening. He will finalize the talks with the club’s leaders this week.

Medeama has been porous from the start in the current Ghana Premier League. They were defeated 5-4 by WAFA on Sunday in their Matchday 7 matches.

The Tarkwa-based team ranks 13th with 7 points.

You’ll sign a two-year contract worth $ 20,000 if you pass the required medical exam.

Before leaving for AS Kaloum, Touré was at AS Vita in Congo after an explosive outing at his childhood club, ASEC Mimosas.

He previously played for Asante Kotoko, Bechem United and Kessben FC (now Medeama SC).

Touré has also worked with the Lebanese club Al-Nejmeh, El Gouna in Egypt and with the Belgian KSC Lokeren.

Ghana Football’s second transfer window is expected to open next month
