The Abuakwa Divisional Police Command in the Ashanti region arrested 4 bodyguards and the driver of Dancehall artist Stonebwoy for assaulting another driver.
The musician and his team are said to have returned to Accra from Bibiani in two black Toyota Land Cruisers with the registration numbers GT-8255-19 and GS-6255-19.
A 207 Benz bus, in an attempt to overtake another car on the Bibiani-Abuakwa stretch, reportedly crashed into one of the Land Cruisers.
According to a witness, bodyguards and the musician’s driver allegedly removed the driver of the 207 Benz from the vehicle and physically assaulted him.
An eyewitness who attempted to intervene also received his share of the assault.
Bodyguards also smashed the phone of a woman who was recording the incident.
The matter ended up at the Abuakwa Police Station, where Stonebwoy and his accomplices were forced to draft their statements.
However, Stonebwoy is said to have charted a flight to Accra for a show tonight.
A doctor on board the bus treated the victim who was said to be responding to treatment.
