Ole Gunnar Solskjaer says Amad Diallo is close to joining Manchester United with the paperwork completed, while refusing to participate in other January earnings.
Diallo’s transfer was announced on the deadline in October, and he is scheduled to join the rest of the Reds team later this month, subject to the completion of a doctor and the approval of personal terms and a work permit.
“We have had all the paperwork, I really don’t see any obstacles. Hopefully he will be with us shortly, “he said.
“We are very excited to bring him, he has shown his qualities a few times, but of course he will have to learn to play in England because it is a different football. We will give him time to develop.”
“Apart from that, I am not going to give too much about what we are going to do with the players. Of course, we are always working in the long term, that is what we have with the objectives we are looking at.”
The Atalanta youth has played five games for the Bergamo team in total, scoring on his debut against Udinese in October 2019.
