King Faisal’s forward Kwame Peprah clinched the Man of the Match award in the team’s boring 1-1 draw against Dreams FC in matchday seven of the Ghana Premier League on Friday.

The forward was exceptional at Nana Ameyaw Park as the two struggling teams shared the spoils.

Kwame Frimpong opened the scoring for the home team in the first half before a deflected shot ensured the visitors went home with a point.

King Faisal finished the match with 10 men behind the goalkeeper Referee Mohammed Misba showed Kaisan Yuisu the exit.

It was a game of both halves, as King Faisal enjoyed the possession, but the visitors grew in the game in the second verse.

Dreams FC’s Emmanuel Ocran was brought down by Faridu Joseph, the visitors did it quickly but Mutawakilu cleared the danger.

King Faisal captain Michael Akufo showered early after being replaced after sustaining an injury at 12 minutes. He was replaced by Albert Mensah.

Dreams FC coach Winfred Dormon left striker Joseph Esso and captain Michael Agbekornu out of the starting X1.

The duo came in the second half and made a positive impact when the claw back sniffed a spot away from home.

The result has taken King Faisal to 15th place in the league table, just one point above Inter Allies who have a game to spare.
