New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament for Ayawaso West Wuogon, Lydia Seyram Alhassan, has revealed that she has turned her living room into a nasal mask-producing factory amid the coronavirus pandemic.
According to the Hon. Alhassan, the initiative is his personal contribution to the fight against coronavirus pandemic since the use of masks has become mandatory.
Speaking in Asempa FM’S Ekosii Sen, revealed that the living room has a capacity for 15 dressmakers who are planting the masks for distribution in the electoral district.
“During the coronavirus blockade, I distributed relief items to constituents and after closing, my living room has been converted to a factory where I am currently producing and distributing 50,000 masks to my constituents,” he said.
In addition, he described a series of development projects that have taken place in the constituency within one year of his term.
“I am personally building roads in my constituency, I established a business club on the Legon campus to assist innovative students with ongoing hospital projects,” he revealed.
