The New Patriotic Party (PNP) Constituency Presidents Association of the Ashanti region congratulated Nana Akufo Addo and the party’s elected members of Parliament on their re-election in the recently concluded general elections.
They also called on the entire party structure and supporters to remain calm and turn to internal party structures to address all outstanding issues and complaints.
The congratulatory message was conveyed in a statement signed by the chairman of the presidents of the PNP Ashanti regional constituency, Odeneho Kwaku Appiah, at their year-end meeting held in Kumasi.
Call for calm
The association has also tasked all party loyalists to refrain from using the media as a forum to address party grievances rather than internal party structures.
Therefore, he recognized and praised the media for the crucial role they played during the elections just ended and congratulated them.
Once again, the association also expressed its gratitude to the rank and file of the party for the victory achieved in the December elections.
