The Association of Presidents of Constituencies of the New Patriotic Party (PNP) in the Ashanti region has congratulated President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on his re-election for a second term.

The Association also applauded the tireless efforts of party members who secured the one-touch victory for the party in a statement issued at the Association’s year-end meeting held in Kumasi.

The statement that was signed by Odeneho Kwaku Appiah, President of the Association and copied to the Ghana News Agency (GNA), said that the party’s rank and file deserved praise for working hard to retain the president and the party in government.

He appealed to party members to remain calm and turn to internal party structures to seek redress for all outstanding problems and complaints to keep party unity intact after the elections.

“While we acknowledge the contributions of the media to the party’s success story, we wish to urge all party loyalists to refrain from using the media as a forum to address party complaints rather than complaints. internal party structures, ”reads part of the statement.

He urged party members to stand together and unite behind the president to promote all the life-transforming policies introduced in his first term to improve the lives of Ghanaians.
