The Association of Presidents of Constituencies of the New Patriotic Party (PNP) in the Ashanti region congratulated the president-elect, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, and the party’s elected members of parliament on their victory during the general elections on December 7 .
Once again, the association also expressed its gratitude to the rank and file of the party for the victory achieved in the December elections.
The congratulatory message was conveyed in a statement signed by the president of the Ashanti regional constituency, the presidents of the nuclear power plant, Odeneho Kwaku Appiah, at their year-end meeting held in Kumasi.

He appealed to the entire party structure and supporters to remain calm and turn to internal party structures to seek redress for outstanding issues and complaints that they may be facing as party members.
The Association called on all party loyalists to refrain from using the media as a forum to address party complaints rather than internal party structures.

He recognized and praised the media for the crucial role they played during the elections just ended and praised them.
The Association also took the opportunity to wish all Ghanaians a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
