The Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA) says it has halted the release of the film Freedom and Justice across the country for fear it will contribute to the spread of COVID-19.
There were reports that the movie has been banned entirely with security agents blocking the various cinemas.
But a statement from the Ghana Tourism Authority said it was only implementing directives from the president and that it has nothing against the film and its content.
Below is the statement from the Ghana Tourism Authority
