Ole Gunnar Solskjaer hopes to point to any future successes of Amad Diallo as one of the reasons why he should remain as Manchester United manager.
The teenage winger will complete his move from Atalanta to Old Trafford in an initial £ 23 million deal in January, after the club confirmed last week that it had the necessary documents to make the move.
Diallo was one of four new names revealed by United on the final day of the summer transfer window, although given his age and the fact that he has remained in Italy so far, he has been regarded as the lowest profile of the quartet. .
Edinson Cavani and Alex Telles have adapted to Solskjaer’s first-team plans, with Cavani scoring three goals in 11 appearances and Telles placing impressively on the left back.

The exciting Diallo is likely to follow the same path after excelling in Atalanta’s youth setup after making five appearances for the senior team in the past two seasons.
United could end up paying up to £ 40 million for Diallo, but Solskjaer has high hopes that he has managed to tempt him out of joining Juventus of the Serie A giants.
The United manager’s pulling power, or perceived lack of it, has been seen as a potential obstacle to his long-term future in the Old Trafford dugout, but if he can make Diallo a valued first-team player, then it will have to be seen as a great victory for the Norwegian.
