Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah will win Liverpool a second consecutive Premier League title, according to former Reds forward Peter Crouch. The duo were in good shape in a 7-0 win at Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Saturday, with Mane scoring a brilliant goal at the corner at the edge of the area to make it 2-0.
The Senegalese winger also set up Takumi Minamino’s first goal in south London before being retired at the hour mark, clearly unhappy that he couldn’t add to his tally.
Salah, the man who replaced Mane, scored twice and prepared another goal that included a brilliant shot in the top corner for the Premier League champions’ seventh goal of the afternoon.
And former England and Liverpool leader Crouch believes the form of the two can help the table-leading Merseyside club win the league for the second season in a row.
Salah has scored 13 goals in 13 league games and leads the Golden Boot career, having also prepared another three top-flight goals for Jurgen Klopp’s men, who are four points ahead of Leicester at the top of the table. .

Meanwhile, Mane has five goals and three assists in 13 league games and only his currently injured teammate Diogo Jota has scored more.
And Crouch insists that Mane’s angry reaction to being replaced by Salah at Palace is not a problem and represents a troubling rivalry between the two attackers.
Answering questions for the Daily Mail, Crouch said: “There’s only one problem, Liam, around something like this if a team is losing.
“Liverpool have won everything in the last two years and I hope they will also retain the Premier League, given the form they have reached.
“But don’t fool yourself by saying that there is no competition between Salah and Mane.
“All forwards are selfish and these two will want to score as many goals as they can. Salah, in particular, seems obsessed with his numbers right now.
“Salah came here as a winger, but he has become one of the most prolific forwards in Europe, a scoring machine.
“He was in the right place for his first time at Crystal Palace and his second, to complete the 7-0 win, was absolutely beautiful.
Mane’s face, having been replaced, was a photo. He was furious and rightly so, because when you smell striker blood the last thing you want is to be taken away.
“Are he and Salah best friends? I doubt it. But it doesn’t matter. I had fellow strikers who I knew never liked me. He never stopped me from getting on with my job.”

Meanwhile, Liverpool manager Klopp told BT Sport that the charges may recreate the performance they achieved at Palace.
“Guys are capable of doing that. It won’t happen every week, but it can happen and today, it fit,” he said.
“A very intense period for the guys, and they should be really proud of how they overcame it, in terms of results and performance.
“We recover tomorrow with a day off, then we play West Brom. As for goal difference, it’s important after the fun result against Aston Villa, so it’s good. The guys set records. That’s fine.”
De Mane added: “He wasn’t mad that Mo came in, he wasn’t happy because he didn’t stay on the field until after the free throw.
“They are boys, you can’t play football where you say everything the boss says, but they are human beings and they react differently. After the game, everything is fine, everything is fine.
“We will have a good Christmas, but the season is unfortunately not over. There are some games to come and we have to be prepared.”
