The German-Ghanaian footballer, Kevin Prince Boateng, has confirmed the separation from his wife, the television presenter, Melissa Satta, after nine years of being together.
The relationship between the AC Monza midfielder and the Italian TV superstar has hit rock bottom of late and the two have had to spend time apart.
The couple have been married for 4 years and have a six-year-old son, Maddox Boateng.
He took to social media to confirm the separation. He shared that after spending time apart, they decided to end their relationship.
“After a period of separation, we have decided to end our relationship permanently, with full respect for each other’s positions and with complete serenity, while we continue to be an important point of reference for the growth of our son Maddox,” he posted.
Mellissa Satta also took to her social media pages to thank the former Ghana Black Stars midfielder for 9 years of being together and for giving her the best gift, her son Maddox Boateng.
“After a period of separation, we have decided to end our relationship permanently, with full respect for each other’s positions and with complete serenity, while remaining an important reference point for the growth of our son Maddox.
