Timo Werner has admitted to “running into trouble” in recent weeks at Chelsea, having underestimated the challenge of the Premier League.
“The Premier League is a little bit different from my old league that I used to play in,” Werner said.

“It’s not easy to be the best in every game, but it’s a lot of fun to play in the Premier League.
“The beginning was very good, now after many games, I don’t know if it’s normal but I’m struggling a bit.
“There are a lot of games right now and I think there are some opportunities that I missed two or three weeks ago that weren’t the best, but I think, when you’re new to a country and a league, it’s always a little bit difficult to adapt. and it shouldn’t be an excuse.
“I should try to do my best to be the best footballer that I can be in this league and I think I will adapt well.”
