Manchester United Transfer Summary: Rashford Ready for New Deal, Lingard Near Loan Out – Ghana Latest Football News, Live Score, Results

Manchester United are gearing up for a match against Leeds United with the club currently seventh in the Premier League table and just one point out of the top four.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side have struggled for results at home, winning just one league match at Old Trafford this season, and have been forced to come back in multiple matches this season.

United are always linked with a lot of players in the transfer window but, with the January window approaching, there could also be multiple exits.

Here are the latest Old Trafford transfer rumors.

Rashford prepares for a new bumper deal

Mirror Sport understands that Marcus Rashford is in line for an excellent new contract before the end of the season.

The forward is in good shape, having scored 12 goals this season, and United want to tie him to a long-term contract ahead of the Euro.

His current contract runs until 2023 and his performances put him on the radar of Real Madrid, Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain.

Lingard linked to the Blades loan

Jesse Lingard has not played for United in the Premier League or Champions League this season, and his only two outings were in the Carabao Cup.

With the player’s current contract expiring at the end of the season, Lingard needs regular first-team football to convince United to activate a one-year extension or to increase interest in his services.

According to the Manchester Evening News, Sheffield United is interested in bringing Lingard on loan as they try to avoid relegation to the Championship.

Beckham wants Romero at Inter Miami

Former Manchester United star David Beckham could offer Sergio Romero an outing from Old Trafford, and Solskjaer turned his back on the veteran goalkeeper this season.

According to The Athletic, Beckham would like to sign Romero for his MLS team, Inter Miami, and United would be willing to let him go.

However, his salary could be an obstacle as MLS salary caps would force Romero to accept a pay cut.
