Ole Gunnar Solskjaer warned that no player is bigger than Manchester United, including Paul Pogba.
Pogba is fit and shoots with goals and assists despite his outspoken agent Mino Raiola claiming the French World Cup winner is “unhappy” at Old Trafford.
Raiola is making efforts once again to transfer Pogba to Juventus or Real Madrid next summer.
But as United prepare to face Leeds in a crucial game over their top four hopes, Solskjaer insists the 27-year-old midfielder is proving he is a team player.
“Paul was here as a kid in the under-18 category, we hired him from the start, he comes with Man United DNA,” Solskjaer said.
“He knows what it’s about. Man United is about being on a team. I would not tolerate anyone thinking they are bigger than Man United because no one is.
“Absolutely no one is and Paul knows it. It’s not just Paul, it’s for all of us.
“Paul has always been an ambitious kid who loves to play soccer. He trains well, he never refuses to train or play, he has a good attitude.
“He has been injured this season, he has had Covid. You are now about to be back in top shape.

“Of course he wants to do the best he can when he’s on the team, no matter how many minutes he has on the field.”
Raiola has been a continuing thorn in United’s side since Pogba rejoined in 2016 with a world record £ 89 million deal and has clashed with Solskjaer more than once for his client.
After missing out on a year ago, United have been strongly linked to a move by forward Erling Haaland, who reportedly has a £ 63 million release clause in his contract with Borussia Dortmund.
The German side disputes it, but even though Raiola also takes care of Haaland, Solskjaer doesn’t think that kills any potential deals.
“I leave the negotiations with the agents to the club. I rarely speak to officers, “Solskjaer said.
“I talk to the players and that is the most important thing for me. I need to see them face to face.
“That is my opinion about it. I think it’s important, the relationship between player and coach, it’s like in the old days.
“I want players who can also handle life. You can’t just pass as agents. “
