Marcus Rashford insists Manchester United have to find more consistency between their home and away form in order to maintain a title challenge this season.
The forward scored two goals in a 3-2 win over Sheffield United in what was the sixth consecutive away win in the Premier League for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side.
However, they have only won once in the league at Old Trafford, and while they would be second if they won their hand game at Burnley, Rashford knows that home form has to improve to be title challengers.
“It sounds simple, the difficulty is to do it, it is something that we have to fix, we have to perform better at home, score more points. We take it game by game and try to score points,” Amazonas said.
“It’s early in the season, there’s a lot of football to play, there will be ups and downs for everyone, we need to find consistency at home and we’ll see where we are at the end of the season.”
Rashford’s double led him to 12 goals for the season with United and he enjoyed rekindling his association with Anthony Martial and Mason Greenwood, with all three forwards causing the Blades endless problems.
“We have the potential to rotate a lot and that kind of fluid football is what we enjoy. We have to do the best we can with the team the coach chooses, that’s our job as players,” he said.
Manchester United returned to the path of victory against humble Sheffield United.
Three points were imperative for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team if they wanted to keep in touch with the first. After an early error by Dean Henderson gave the hosts the upper hand, the Reds came back and claimed a major victory.
The victory brought United to sixth place in the Premier League table, just two points behind second-ranked Tottenham and with a game in hand for everyone above.

Rashford’s second capped a good team play, but he was also indebted to Michael Oliver’s playing advantage when Paul Pogba was brought down in the center circle.
