Hearts of Oak coach Kosta Papic has expressed his disappointment at his team’s loss to Aduana Stars in the standout match of Matchday 1 on Wednesday.
The Phobians lost 2-0 to Aduana at Nana Agyemang Badu II Park in a game that created and missed several opportunities, including a penalty.
The defeat left the Serbian strategist enraged and insisted that it will take his team some time to maintain a consistent level of performance.
“We are not ready for this game (sic) obviously. I mean the players. A little better in the second half, but that’s not enough. Losing so many opportunities, missing the penalty does not give us a chance to win the game today, ”Papic said in the post-match interview.
“As I said before the game, it will be the other way around, a game is won, one is lost. Until we start to be stable.
“The time is not there but this will come,” he added.
Hearts have now dropped to 10th after five games in the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League season.
