Ghanaian actor and political aspirant John Dumelo celebrates a year of marital happiness with his beautiful wife Gifty Mawuenya Nkornu, who were married in a beautiful wedding ceremony this day, May 11, 2019, at the Royal Senchi Resort.
In an Instagram post to commemorate the day, Gifty shared a never-before-seen video of their exchange of votes.
In the video, while reading her vows to her husband, Gifty revealed that her husband’s love for his country, Ghana, is more than his love for her.
“I promise to be your best friend, I promise to love you always, I promise to love you rain or shine. I promise to be there all the time and will always be there, even though we both know you love Ghana more than me. Because you get up every day and talk about your plans for Ghana and sometimes it bores me a little bit, but I will work together with you and we will both do it together, “he said in the video.
John Dumelo’s political ambitions are no secret. Last year, he collected forms to contest the parliamentary primaries for the Ayawaso West Wougon seat in the 2020 election.
With a resounding primary victory, John has participated in several campaign events and donations in hopes of taking his dream one step further to become the Member of Parliament (MP) for the area.
