The defeated parliamentary candidate in the Adentan constituency, Yaw Buaben Asamoa, has revealed that he was hospitalized just a week before the presidential and parliamentary elections on December 7.
The incumbent legislator of the constituency lost to Mohammed Adamu Ramadan of the Democratic National Congress in the elections. Speaking to journalists in Parliament on Monday, December 14, he explained that the electoral defeat is not new for him as he has lost several elections in the past.
“In fact, I was in the hospital a week before the elections. I was in the hospital while making my choice. “The hospital authority let me leave for almost twelve hours to come and try to work on the elections. But I was in the hospital for almost a week before the elections started. “
He added “With elections you can win or lose, I have lost several elections. The only difference is that this time I had it and I have lost it. “Before, I was looking for it and I was not getting it, so I feel comfortable in myself and I think it can be won or lost and while I am here I am still the communications director.”
