In a Facebook post cited by Myjoyonline.comDr. Okoe Boye stated that while some of his staff were happy to see him do well, others were “shocked by my activity having assumed that not winning the parliamentary elections meant ending community service.”

For Dr. Okoe Boye, “the joy that a true Leader experiences does not lie in the position he occupies, but in the service his people receive”, thus reiterating his position of putting himself at the service of his community.

“I thank God that you don’t necessarily have to fill a position to help others experience a better world. Because He lives, we can face tomorrow ”, said his publication.

Dr. Okoe Boye lost Ledzokuku’s seat to Benjamin Ayiku Narteh of the NDC in the recently concluded December elections.
