Nana Otuo Acheampong and Mr Ato Williams
The Executive Forum (YeF) has congratulated President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on his re-election for a second term.
“Ghana has spoken and democracy has won,” he said.
YeF is a pressure and advocacy group within the PNP, which empowers the professional, intellectual and business communities to support the party and mobilize a new generation of party faithful and leaders.
Pandemic
The congratulatory message, jointly signed by the national president, Mr. Ato Williams, and his vice, Nana Otuo Acheampong, said that under circumstances of an unprecedented pandemic never experienced, Ghanaians resulted in numbers never seen before.
He said that the election results at all levels showed that the country remained deeply divided.
Changes
The message said the group was hopeful that President Akufo-Addo and Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia would continue the structures started in their first term to stabilize the Ghanaian economy with the interest of the Ghanaians at heart.
“We encourage all Ghanaians to support their efforts. We hope that he will continue with the social intervention programs that he started in his first term with his re-election message to ‘give him four more years to do more for Ghana,’ ”he said.
Background
Since 1992, the YeF has enriched the campaign of successive party champions with the contribution of both human and financial resources.
In recognition of its enormous contributions, YeF is one of the party’s special organs that is represented on the governing board of the National Executive Committee.
