On Saturday December 12, 2020, a Twitter user ‘Jay Sterling’ shared a photo of Wendy Shay in a wedding dress as she sat next to a man dressed as a groom in a wedding montage. Popular emcee MC Cutie was also at the court.
He captioned the photo: “Arhh. Wendy Shay got married today?
Another user who seemed to have an idea about every wedding ceremony in Ghana claimed that it is true and that the man is an employee of Guinness Ghana.
He replied to the tweet: “Yes. The ceremony is even ongoing. The husband works at Guinness Ghana. He is the quality control manager.”
People fell in love with his comment, and most of the responses praised him for having “hard information.”
But our checks on Wendy Shay’s social media accounts show that speculation isn’t even close.
The videos and photos circulating on social media are actually behind-the-scenes shots of an upcoming music video for his song.
The “HIT” singer posted the behind-the-scenes video on her Instagram page and said ‘it’s every girl’s dream to get married one day,’ adding that the song is titled “Wedding Song” and is scheduled for release on Tuesday (December 15).
She captioned the video: “It is the dream of every girl to get married one day. Wedding Song will be out on Tuesday 12.15.20 ”.
He has received a lot of congratulatory messages from his fans after posting the video.
“People will not read the legend and will start congratulating you” Instagram user ‘poshinspiration’ responded to the video. Another ‘angyofficial’ user said: “Herr Wendy y3 wati studio … You can’t get married now lol … I can’t wait.”
