Takefusa Kubo’s loan at Villarreal has not gone as planned, and the Japanese star is now looking for a way back to parent club Real Madrid.
Kubo hasn’t started a single league game so far this season and only played 58 minutes against Sivasspor in the Europa League on Thursday night. This is a great disappointment for both the player and Real Madrid, with Unai Emery’s lack of confidence in the player now very evident.
