Meet the 38 elected deputies for the 8th Parliament

At the end of the presidential and parliamentary elections on December 7, 38 women won several seats across the country to enter the eighth parliament.

That means that 13.8% of the 275 elected deputies are women. The number is one more than the 37 women MPs in the outgoing 7th parliament.

The NPP has 20 of the new seats, while the NDC has 18. Below is the list:
