Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has congratulated Ghanaian President Nana Akufo-Addo on his re-election.
Akufo-Addo, who ran under the New Patriotic Party (PNP) platform, was declared the winner of the elections on Wednesday.
In his congratulatory tweet to Akufo-Addo, Atiku said that the smooth running of the elections in Ghana should be a revelation for Nigeria.
He wrote;
congratulations to [email protected] on his re-election. The smooth running of the elections in Ghana should be a revelation for our nation. We must undertake far-reaching electoral reforms that address the shortcomings of our past experiences and strengthen our electoral process.
