The Champions League group stage comes to an end this week, so the round of 16 draw is not too far off.

Liverpool have already progressed as group champions after last week’s 1-0 win over Ajax, which put the Reds four points clear at the top of Group D.

Atalanta beat Ajax on Wednesday night for the group’s runner-up.

Here’s all the key information you need to know before the Champions League round of 16 draw.

When and where is the draw?

The draw is scheduled for Monday, December 14 at 11am (GMT). Nyon in Switzerland is the venue for the event.

Those who progressed as group winners will face the runners-up from other groups, and teams from the same country will not be able to compete against each other for the time being.

However, the quarterfinals mean that any club could face anybody, which means that we could see an all-English tie.
