It’s been another busy day at Manchester United when it comes to transfers, and the main news remains the possible departure of Paul Pogba.
Super agent Mino Raiola sparked a big talk about an outing in January when he claimed Pogba was “unhappy” with his current situation.
“I can say it’s over for Paul Pogba at Manchester United,” Raiola told Tuttosport.
“Paul is not happy with Manchester United because he can no longer express himself in the way he would like and as expected.”
But there’s also a lot of talk about potential replacements and other new signings that could come through the door in January.
So here’s the latest transfer news and rumors around United.
Pogba’s departure is the last as the circus continues
It has been a whirlwind for the past 24 hours after Mino Raiola’s comments that Paul Pogba is “unhappy” at Old Trafford.
Many, including Rio Ferdinand and Gary Neville, have criticized Raiola for sparking another saga, with the former urging the club to let him “free.”
But it doesn’t seem very clear where Pogba would go, as potential suitors Real Madrid and Juventus are not in the best financial position to launch an offer of more than £ 100 million.
Man Utd and Man City ‘offered’ Dybala
It is understood that Manchester United and Manchester City were offered the opportunity to sign Paulo Dybala from Juventus.
The Serie A squad have sent sensors to various Premier League clubs, and both Manchester teams are expected to beef up their attacking options next year.
It could well be that Dybala is involved in a deal that brings Pogba back to Turin to keep financial costs to a minimum.
Raiola at Solskjaer’s new excavation with comments from Haaland
As if he hadn’t done enough to rile United and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Mino Raiola has pointed another dig at the club on another of his clients: Erling Haaland.
The Red Devils lost in January by signing the Norwegian striker for Borussia Dortmund.
And Raiola said: “Solskjaer is a good guy, but he was wrong when he said that Erling is like Lukaku.”
“It would be better if Solskjaer thought about finding a way to make Pogba play like a champion, instead of talking about Haaland.”
