Ghana Football Association (GFA) President Kurt Edwin Simeon Okraku arrived in Benin for the 2020 WAFU Zone B U-20 Nations Cup.
Okraku was present at the Black Satellites training on Tuesday December 8, 2020 before the Group B game against Nigeria on Wednesday.
Ghana FA Head Coach Bernhard Lippert is also in Benin to provide technical support to Ghana U20 coach Abdul Karim Zito.
Mr. Okraku is currently the second vice president of WAFU Zone B and will take the opportunity to meet and interact with executives from the West African soccer governing body.
The head of the Niger Football Association, Djibrilla Hamidou, is the current president of the Union and the head of Togo FA, Kossi Akpovi, is the first vice president of the area.
The Black Satellites will play Nigeria at Stade de Gaules on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at 4 pm
A win for Ghana will put them in the driver’s seat after Nigeria’s 1-1 draw with Ivory Coast in their first Group B match.
