See: Cristiano Ronaldo scores his second and third for Juventus against Barcelona

Barcelona face Juventus tonight at the Camp Nou in a clash that will decide the winners of Group G.

The Blaugrana currently lead the group, three points ahead of the Italians. They also have a superior head-to-head record thanks to their 2-0 loss to Juventus in Turin in October.

The great story of the evening was the presence of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, considered two of the best footballers in history, who faced each other for the first time since the latter left Real Madrid in the summer of 2018.

The Portuguese played a decisive role at the beginning of the match, getting the first blood in the first quarter of an hour. Ronaldo earned a penalty after being hit by Ronald Araujo in the box, before rebounding and sending his shot down the middle past Marc-Andre ter Stegen.

Soon after, Juventus had doubled their lead. This time it was their American star Weston McKennie at the heart of things, initiating a graceful one-two with Juan Cuadrado down the right side before stabbing home with a precise shot.

Less than ten minutes into the second half, Juventus had a third and Ronaldo the second. Clement Lenglet was deemed to have handled the ball in the area, resulting in another penalty. Ronaldo, once again, was not wrong.
