Barcelona midfielder Miralem Pjanic has expressed his anger at not playing more often for the Catalan team ahead of Tuesday’s Champions League clash at home to his former club Juventus.
Pjanic traded from the Italian champion to Barcelona last June for € 60 million in a deal in which Brazilian midfielder Arthur Melo did the opposite for € 72 million.
The Bosnian’s arrival at Camp Nou was interrupted by his positive for Covid-19 in August and Pjanic has only started one of 10 LaLiga games, making five appearances from the bench.
And now Pjanic has admitted his frustrations at his lack of time on the court, saying he can’t understand why manager Ronald Koeman isn’t playing it.

He has started every Champions League game, but said he was unhappy with his situation at the Catalan side, which has had the worst start to a league season since 1987/88 and is currently ninth.

Pjanic made 108 starts in four seasons with Juve, winning the Serie A title each time.
