Chaos erupts as voters break into the engineers of the city of Odododiodio

The Odododiodio constituency in the Greater Accra region is considered one of the hotspots or hot spots due to the constant events of the constitution.

News coming YEN.com.gh indicates that pandemonium broke out in the city’s electoral college of engineers in the Odododiodoo constituency in the Greater Accra region.

This was after some voters forcibly moved downtown despite the presence of security officials.

According to a Citinews report, voters who had formed a long line in front of the center’s main entrance were forced into the voting station.

Security officers had a difficult time controlling the crowd as they were dominated by impatient voters.

The election officials overseeing the process were also unable to do anything to calm the crowd.

However, after forcibly arriving at the station, some voters faced fists because they were unable to reorganize in the queues that had already formed outside the main entrance.

According to residents present, the EC and security agents were maneuvering the process allowing people who had not joined the queue to enter the premises to cast their vote.

YEN.com.gh previously reported that some NPP and NDC supporters in the Odododiodoo constituency in Jamestown, Accra, have been involved in a clash on the morning of Sunday, October 25, 2020.

Those involved in the clash have reportedly attacked each other with stones, bottles and other sharp objects, causing many injuries.

The incident reportedly occurred at a popular intersection called One Way on Atta Mills High Street in the morning, and is suspected to have been triggered by an earlier dispute between some members of Ghana’s two largest political parties.
