It is public knowledge that a journalist, Manasseh Azure Awuni, has worked tirelessly to put the final nail in the coffin of Africa’s waste management expert Zoomlion Ghana Limited by labeling him fraudulent and under all sorts of names over the last eight years.

I have warned Manasseh several times to resist calling the company and its owner, Dr. Joseph Siaw Agyepong, fraudulent because no court of competent jurisdiction has said so, but Manasseh’s propensity to label the company and the man as the same will not let him rest.

In February 2020, I warned him against defamation and slander against the innocent and venerable Dr. Joseph Siaw Agyepong and his company Zoomlion Ghana Limited when he tried to retire and publish absurd statements against the company and himself after Zoomlion lost the appeal in the tall. Court in Accra. Its headline was “Fraudulent ‘Zoomlion loses appeal against Auditor General for GHc184 million fumigation payments.”

I warned you with a saying that most of the elders in our community like to use to instruct young people to exercise restraint while doing something. I said “Our elders have held that the wise thread cautiously but the stupid – in their own direction.” I’m sure this saying will change your public statements now because no one knew about tomorrow, but like his older brother, I considered the future before warning him, which I feel vindicated.

You should be imagining and lamenting his utter stupidity and stupidity in his understanding of the Accra High Court ruling that dismissed Zoomlion’s appeal against the Auditor General on the issue of surcharges and overrides emanating from the audit work he orchestrated. I said he orchestrated it because he found a new love in the Auditor General. Mr. Daniel Domelovo is questionable.

You and the attorneys for the Auditor General have been conspiring and tolerating the collapse of this company. If not, how the heck can they use skewed videos shot by you, a biased journalist, as evidence against Zoomlion in court?

It is obvious that Manasseh has never written or made positive comments about Zoomlion Ghana Limited or its CEO Dr Siaw Agyepong, despite the several successes the company attributes to changing waste management in Africa and creating various jobs. in the waste. management of the value chain throughout the country.

Recently, the company has been building several waste composting and recycling plants in all sixteen regions of Ghana and yet Manasseh has not seen that or congratulated them, but if the bad news comes even at midnight, Manasseh will have something to do with it. say.

Isn’t this a demonstration of evil and demonic agenda against the company? You have managed to become a prophet of doom, at least for Zoomlion. This type of journalism that you practice is diabolical and jaundiced by selfishness where you are prevented from seeing the good but only the bad. Journalism is a balanced game and not one-sided.

I posted an article titled “Detractor Manasseh’s Prayer to See Jospong Fall Will End in Hopelessness” in February 2020, after which I warned him not to label the company fraudulent as he needed to read the details of the sentence to make an informed decision, as my article. I am glad that it was made clear in your ignorance of the law and how it works.

In Manasseh’s ignorant, emotional, and predictably devilish mood, he quoted parts of the Zoomlion and the Auditor General’s statements to the court and implied that the company was found to be fraudulent at all material times, which was only a product of his illusory imagination.

To be famous, one must not ride on the challenges of another. Celebrating successes and announcing the same to the world is not a cowardly endeavor.

Yesterday, the Supreme Court vindicated Zoomlion against his evil wishes.

A seven-member Supreme Court chaired by Justice Jones Dotse ruled that the Auditor General over whose decision he was jubilant and which added impetus to his selfish despotication and exposing his ignorance that Zoomlion is fraudulent has no ability to reject and collect from the company. What a shame of you and your constant evil hatred.

For the sake of clarity for you and readers, an Accra High Court had previously cleared African waste management giant Zoomlion Ghana Limited of any allegations of fraud, as alleged on 27 October 2018 by the Auditor General who issued a surcharge. and a disallowance against the company in the amount of more than GH ¢ 184 million for the fumigation exercise you conducted, as you rejoiced with enthusiasm when the company lost its appeal.

Zoomlion was not satisfied with the decision of the Auditor General in 2018 and filed an appeal in the Superior Court against that decision pursuant to Order 54A of the Superior Court rule {Civil Procedure}.

The court chaired by Judge Georgina Mensah Datsa in its ruling on the matter, particularly on the fraud allegations, said that the Auditor General had not been able to establish any fraud cases against the Waste Management company saying that “the Respondent had not established that the Appellant (Zoomlion) had defrauded the state ”.

The Zoomlion case was that the Auditor General “erred in his conclusion that the Appellant had been paid a total amount of GHc184.901650.00 without due process and this has caused a serious judicial error.”

It also held that, “the Respondent erred in its conclusion that the Appellant had been paid between 2007-2017 an amount of GH ¢ 184.901650.00 devoid of due process without providing or giving the Appellant the opportunity to respond the allegation therefore violates the rule of natural justice and this has caused a serious judicial error “.

The Superior Court affirms that, by confirming the Respondent’s decision to reject and collect the sum of GH ¢ 184.901650 from the Appellant, the trial judge fundamentally erred in law by assuming that the Respondent’s power to deny and charge it can be extended to private persons such as the Appellant (Zoomlion).

Now, let me further warn you against your long-held bitterness that has prevented you from seeing hard-working Ghanaian companies progress in desisting from such an attitude. Maybe I should tell Ghanaians why they hate Dr. Siaw Agyepong so much.

It is my wish that, sooner rather than later, the company will legally measure its words. Perhaps you should prepare your pocket as much as your mouth speaks a lot of words against people without caution.

Until I explain more to you in my next article, a word to the wise is enough.
