The Leadership of the Democratic National Congress (NDC) has announced the last round of its prayer and fast before the general election on December 7th.
The Prayer, Fasting and Thanksgiving Day declared by the NDC and codenamed the final onslaught will take place from Thursday, December 3 through Saturday, December 5, 2020, dedicated to seeking mercies. of God for a successful election.
This follows the earlier period of prayer and fasting for the Christian community and a special prayer for the Muslim community in Ghana in October.
A press release issued by the national president of the NDC said: “Knowing very well that God’s Divine Intervention manifests itself in the affairs of humanity and as we move towards a very crucial and final stage of the electoral process, it is imperative that as Party, we call once again for God’s intervention to shore up our hard work and determination to ensure a resounding victory in the General Election on December 7, for the Glory of Almighty God.
The spiritual exercise will culminate with a Special Service on Friday, December 4 and Saturday, December 5, 2020 by the Muslim and Christian communities respectively.
Therefore, the statement urged all members and supporters to participate and seek God’s intervention for the victory of the NDC in the general election.
