Marcus Rashford has what it takes to be a “wonderful player,” according to Manchester United captain Harry Maguire.
The center half admits that they are aware of putting too much pressure on their teammate, but say that “they can’t talk enough about him.”
Rashford has been Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s choice to lead the line since taking over from Old Trafford.
The Norwegian was prepared to download Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sánchez in the summer, such was his faith in the 22-year-old.
Rashford has led United’s path on the scoring charts this period and Maguire has rated the leader as the most talented player he has ever played with.

He told the official Manchester United podcast: “I have always spoken so highly of Marcus when I was with him in England.”
“I can’t speak highly enough of him. I think he will continue to have an exceptional career. I think he will continue, I don’t want to push him too hard, to be a wonderful player for Manchester United, as he is now.
“On the field, as I said, he surprised me. He is the most talented player I have ever played with and I am sure he will be a wonderful player for this club.”
Maguire received the bracelet this season even though it only came from Leicester in the summer.
That move was criticized by some who felt that the decision showed a lack of available leaders for Solskjaer.
But the central half of the Three Lions is confident that Rashford will emerge as a future leader.
He added: “I think as a club, you should have a captain and trust him, but you need to spread the responsibility for leadership in the group.”
“Marcus is there and he struggles in every game, he’s obviously losing a serious injury right now, but he’s struggling to come back and he rarely misses games.”
“He always wants to be available. I think he can see around the place and on and off the field, he’s excellent with his charity work, which is great to see.”
