The latest speculations suggest that the number 10 of Barcelona has contacted at least one of the candidates, former president Joan Laporta.
“I heard that Messi has told Laporta that he wants to stay at the club,” Argentine reporter Verónica Brunati told Radio MARCA’s Friday with Ellas program.
“This is the information I have today, but things can change in the case of a week, I know there has been contact with Laporta.
“Obviously Leo has to decide if he wants to go down in history as a player who has spent his entire career in a club or if he wants to go to another club, and in times of COVID there are not many clubs that can get in his salary, not even a PSG or Manchester City.
