Jordan Henderson Sends Three Word Warning After Liverpool Injury Comeback

Jordan Henderson has stated that he is “back” after being photographed in training for the Reds on Thursday.

Liverpool have suffered the brunt of a significant increase in injuries this season, with several of their players excluded from action for long periods.

Captain Henderson has missed the last two games, a 3-0 win over Leicester City and a 2-0 loss to Atalanta in the Champions League, due to a hamstring injury suffered while He was playing for England against Belgium earlier this month.

However, the dynamic midfielder returned to training on Thursday afternoon before Saturday’s game with Brighton and Hove Albion.

After making his comeback, Henderson took to Twitter to send a message, as he wrote, “Back in business.”

It remains to be fully confirmed whether Henderson will be ready in time to make the trip to the south coast, but Jurgen Klopp will hope he is, as the coach continues to deal with a growing disabled list.

Midfielders Naby Keita, Xherdan Shaqiri, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Thiago Alcantara are all expected to be unavailable for the match, meaning Henderson’s return would be a very timely boost.

Liverpool will continue without the defensive trio Virgil van Dijk, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Joe Gomez.
