Multiple award-winning musicians from Ghana, Livingstone Etse Satekla, aka Stonebwoy
Multi-award winning Ghanaian musician Livingstone Etse Satekla, also known as Stonebwoy, has explained that speaking highly of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo does not mean that he endorsed any political party.
During an interview with Abeiku Santana on Okay FM, the head of Burniton Music Group indicated that he only supported the achievement of Nana Addo but not the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
He said he has the right, as a Ghanaian, to praise something worthy of praise.
“I have not supported any political party. When you mention the name Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, I know that she has done many things that deserve my endorsement. Therefore, I can say that I have not supported any political party, other than the achievement of President Nana Akufo-Addo as president of Ghana, which is worthy of approval, I support it, “said Stonebwoy.
His comment came on the heels of many public figures publicly declaring their support for certain political parties ahead of the 2020 general election.
If Stonebwoy doesn’t want to be labeled among these celebrities, he should have kept quiet because Nana Akufo-Addo is the NPP’s standard-bearer, and an endorsement for him is indirectly an endorsement for his party as well.
