Active coronavirus cases in Ghana appear to be declining, as two consecutive figures released by the Ghana Health Service (GHS) show a decline.

The latest GHS updates on the virus show that Ghana’s active case count as of November 22 is 775, after 41 new cases.

This is a drop in the number of active infections from 832 in the previous update. Before cases fell to 832, active infections stood at 940.

A few weeks before these declining numbers, the country experienced a sudden spike in the active case count.

However, the number of deaths was unchanged at 323.

The cumulative count of coronavirus cases is now 51,225 with 50,127 downloads.
