Andre Ayew is unhappy about Swansea City’s draw with Sheffield Wednesday, but the Ghana striker has quickly turned his attention to the weekend’s game against Nottingham Forest.
The Jack Army held a 1-1 stalemate at Liberty Stadium despite dominating their opponents.
The Swans had chased after an Adam Reach goal at Liberty after a first half in which they had a lot of possession, but found it difficult to bring down the visitors.
But there was more spark to Steve Cooper’s men’s display in the second half, with backup Andre Ayew scoring an outstanding individual goal to level things out.
The result brought the Welsh team to fourth place in the championship standings with 23 points from 13 matches.
However, Ayew was disappointed that they did not achieve maximum points, but says they will work hard to get a win against Nottingham Forest on Sunday.
1 point at home is not what we wanted but we will take it and move on⚪️⚫️happy to get another goal⚽️👊🏽 let’s get ready for Sunday..YJB⚪️⚫️
The match was Ayew’s first for his team since returning from a muscle injury.
He has sacked 6 goals and provided 1 assist in 12 league appearances this period.
