Active Covid-19 Cases in Ghana Drop to 775

The Ghana Health Service (GHS) says the country has witnessed a decline in the number of active Covid-19 cases.

According to the Director General of the Service, Dr. Patrick Kuma-Aboagye, who made it known at a press conference in Accra, the number of active cases as of November 22 was 775.

In elaborating, Dr. Kuma-Aboagye said that as of November 22, the total number of cases was 51,225.

He said that 50,127 people have been discharged or recovered from the virus, while the total number of deaths was 323.

Dr. Kuma-Aboagye said that since the reopening of Kotoka International Airport in September, 69,311 tests have been carried out, of which 264 were positive.
