President Akufo-Addo says his administration has lived up to expectations and should have another mandate to continue serving the country.
According to him, the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) led by John Mahama is on a promising spree, throwing dust in the eyes of Ghanaians and naming unachievable initiatives to collect votes before the elections.
“I have kept most of my promises. That means I was honest with you. For these reasons, I know I have met expectations, so give me four more years to better serve you and continue my work. “
Speaking in Kokompe at Ablekuma North Constituency on Tuesday, he revealed that the NDC administration achieved nothing in office and questioned what it could offer Ghanaians in the coming years.
“He (Mahama) should stop lying to the Ghanaians and leave us to continue our development agenda for the country. We have experienced its administration before, and it did not meet the expectations of the Ghanaians.
“The fact is, he’s been in power before, and what did he accomplish? Nothing, “he said.
On his three-day tour of the Greater Accra region, President Akufo-Addo interacted with merchants during the commission of the first phase of the Obetsebi Lamptey exchange.
President Akufo-Addo explained that while the Business Development Support Relief Program established to assist businesses during the Covid-19 pandemic has not run smoothly, no one would be left behind.
He assured that “those who did not benefit from the financial support would be assisted when they were retained in office.”
