Naples 1-3 AC Milan
Ibrahimovic scored goals no. 9th and 10th on the season, in just six appearances, to give AC Milan a 2-0 lead after 54 minutes. The 39-year-old wonder headed the first home plate off a Theo Hernandez cross, and got creative to hit the second home plate with a similar ball played by Ante Rebic.
Napoli made it 2-1 through Dries Mertens in the 63rd, but the comeback was short-lived as Tiemoue Bakayoko received his second yellow card for knocking Hernandez to the ground two minutes later.
Jens Petter Hauge scored third for Milan in injury time, keeping Stefano Pioli’s team undefeated for the season (6W-2D-0L) and two points above second place Sassuolo for another week.
Juventus 2-0 Cagliari
Cristiano Ronaldo scored two goals, only four minutes apart at the end of the first half, as Juventus also maintained their undefeated start (4G-4D-0L). More importantly, the nine-time defending Serie A champions remain just four points behind Milan.
Ronaldo’s first goal was the result of a quick pass from Álvaro Morata, but he still had a long way to go to cut inside with his right foot and shoot inside the far post. Objective no. 2 was much more fortuitous, as Juan Cuadrado’s corner kick was shot off the far post by Merih Demiral, only for Ronaldo to arrive at the right moment to lift the ball over the line.
Inter Milan 4-2 Turin
Inter Milan’s victory over Torino was far less straightforward than their title rivals. After falling 2-0 behind in the 62nd minute, Antonio Conte’s team scored four goals in a row, three of which came in a 20-minute span, to finally reach three points.
Alexis Sánchez was enabled by Romelu Lukaku for Inter’s first goal at 64; the two switched roles for the second when Lukaku entered the roster at 67; Lukaku converted from the eventual winner from the penalty spot in the 84th; and Lautaro Martínez, prepared by Lukaku’s second assist in the game, completed the score at 90.
