Dreams FC scored a penalty at the end to record a vital 2-1 victory over Medeama in the second week of Ghana’s Premier League match last Sunday.

Issah Ibrahim clinched the hometown victory at the edge of full time with a decisive kick that took Dreams to fourth on the record.

Forward Joseph Esso opened the scoring after capitalizing on a defensive howl from Ibrahim Yaro to open the scoring at 16th minute.

Despite falling early in the match, Medeama dictated the pace and enjoyed the possession but did not take advantage of her chances.

Medeama shot tied at 74th minute through Kwadwo Asamoah who tapped up close.

Just as the match looked headed for a draw, Yaro dropped Esso in the box for a resulting penalty.

Issah Ibrahim seized the opportunity and fitted wonderfully to make it 2-1.

Victory ensures Dreams moves Medeama to 14th on record after two games in the league.
