Bawumia made further damning remarks, stating that the NDC disrespected former President Jerry John Rawlings when he was alive, and released “babies with sharp teeth” to insult him. He believes the NDC’s pain in the midst of Rawlings’ death is hypocritical.

According to Bawumia, the NDC under John Dramani Mahama cannot boast of a single path that they completed in any of the five northern Regions. He said that the only legacy John Mahama claimed he had left him is SADA and even with SADA there is not a single project to show during the eight years of his rule.
Meanwhile, the vice president later commissioned a block of one-story classrooms for the school. He also commissioned a mosque that he personally supported for the completion and renovation of some parts. He also paid a courtesy visit to Yaa Naa.
