“In light of public inquiries into the police uniforms to be used for the presidential and parliamentary elections this year, the Inspector General of Police, Mr. James Oppong-Boanuh, has ordered that all police officers wear the uniforms of traditional police, which are in the colors of blue-black, black and police camouflage; either office or operational clothing with the appropriate headgear for police functions.
