The fire has devastated parts of the Sakumono school complex in Accra.
Fire service personnel were dispatched to the scene to put out the devastating blaze, a witness told Citi News Thursday morning.
The witness, giving details about the fire, said: “When we got out, we realized that the central part of the school complex was on fire, so I decided to call the Fire Service.”
Meanwhile, the time and cause of hell is unknown.
This incident follows a recent one that occurred in the Odawna market on Wednesday, November 18, 2020.
Around 400 shops, merchants’ belongings and money were burned beyond recognition.
The fire, according to eyewitnesses who spoke to the GhanaWeb news team, started at around 1 a.m. Wednesday.
Meanwhile, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo, who visited the site, promised to rewire all Accra markets.
He also ordered the NBSSI to provide assistance to all victims within two weeks.
