The Kerala Blasters kick off their Indian Super League (ISL) season on Friday when they take on ATK Mohun Bagan.

The Blasters have made wholesale changes to their foreign contingent with only midfielder Sergio Cidoncha retained from last season. Among the new players is Costa Nhamoinesu, who has been named among the three captains that are Cidoncha and Jessel Carneiro.

Coach Kibu Vicuña explained his reasons for handing over the captain’s armband for three players to share.
